The National Assembly in Kuwait has decided to introduce the sign language during its plenary live sessions, Al Qabas newspaper reported.
Chaired by National Assembly Speaker Marzooq Al Ghanim, the meeting approved a proposal submitted by MP Askar Al Enzi in a bid to reach out to people with special needs.
The proposal was referred to the competent authorities before introducing the sign language officially and engaging those hard of hearing to follow the parliamentary sessions.
