Microsoft Gulf and its leading distributors hosted an event focused on enabling the channel community to be able to strategise better and reach the small and medium businesses (SMBs) in the UAE with the right tools, product offerings and effective solutions in order to increase their market share recently in Dubai.
Its distributors include Aptec, Mindware and Redington Gulf, in line with the objective of empowering organisations to do more, said a statement.
The event held under the theme 'Inspire Business Growth In SMB' began with a keynote by Samer Abu Ltaif, regional general manager Microsoft Gulf, followed by a multidimensional overview of the SME sector in Dubai by Abdul Baset Al Janahi, chief executive officer, Dubai SME, and then drove into interesting panel discussions where participants from the distributors shared opportunities and Best practices in the SMB market.
The day also hosted a very insightful keynote and workshop by guest speaker Carol Roth, International Business expert and New York Times Best Selling author of 'The Entrepreneur equation.'
Roth, being small business advocate, shared insightful techniques that partners can use by leveraging digital marketing and social media in order to reach SMBs at Scale and help them in their IT Purchasing decision.
