More than 100 Chinese companies from the fields of infrastructure, technology and construction will participate in the ‘Made in China Exhibition’ to be hosted by Qatar Chamber (QC), next month in Doha, Qatar, a report said.
The event will be held from December 14 to 16, at Doha Exhibition Centre.
The preparations for the expo are in full swing, and the over hundred companies have confirmed to attend and showcase their services and products to the Qatari market, Saleh Hamad Al Sharqi, acting general manager at QC, was quoted as saying in a Peninsula Qatar report.
He added that the exhibition will be held over an area of 15,000 sq m, which demonstrates China’s interest in Qatar as well as the need to promote Chinese products since it is a leading commercial and investment hub.
Al Sharqi noted that China is a vital global economic power, its economy is a major hub in the world economies and the exhibition constitutes a good opportunity for establishing transactions and partnerships between Qatari and Chinese sides.
The objective of the exhibition is not to sell Chinese products but to facilitate trade exchange between Qatar and Chinese companies and exhibitors, he said.
