Manama: Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) Team fighter Frankie Edgar will take on Chad Mendes of the US today in the main event of the UFC-TUF 22 Championship at Chelsea Hall in Cosmopolitan Nevada Hotel in Las Vegas.
The first deputy chairman of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and president of Bahrain Athletics Association Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said the excitement was mounting ahead of the clash.
He praised the efforts of the organising committee of UFC headed by Dana White.
Edgar stressed his readiness for the fight during a Press conference yesterday and thanked Shaikh Khalid for his support and selecting him to be part of his team.
