Barclays has won the ‘Best Foreign Investment Bank’ in the Middle East by EMEA Finance at the Middle East Banking Awards.
The award recognised Barclays’ leading position as a top player in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity capital markets (ECM) and debt capital markets (DCM) across the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region; leading on a wide range of high profile advisory and capital market transactions for sovereign, corporate and financial institutions, said a statement.
The judging panel of EMEA Finance also highlighted Barclays’ key achievements over the past 12 months which were driven by one of the largest and most senior on-ground investment banking teams in the Middle East, it said.
