One thousand brides and grooms yesterday tied the knot during the eighth mass wedding at Bahrain University’s Sakhir campus.
The Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) held the ceremony in co-operation with the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, at the Shaikh Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall.
His Majesty’s representative for charity work and youth affairs, and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and RCO board of trustees chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended the event.
