Saudi: A Saudi man who hit a customs officer with his car on King Fahd Causeway then fled, last Friday, has been arrested.
The man who was coming from Bahrain reportedly ran over the officer who was running while performing his duties, before escaping.
The security forces managed to chase the suspect and referred him to competent authorities, said General Customs Authority spokesman Ali Al Jafari.
He said that the Saudi man, who is in his fifties, was in an "abnormal state”.
The customs officer who was taken to the hospital for treatment is reportedly in good health.
