Visa Inc will join innovtors from around the world to demonstrate the important role mobile is planning in how people pay and get paid at an upcoming forum.
The Mobile World Congress 2016 will run from February 22 to 25 in Barcelona, Spain.
The visitors to the Visa booth can explore how a wave of a hand could pay for groceries, or how a connected car can allow a consumer to pay for gas and parking from the comfort of the driver’s seat, said a statement.
It will showcase the future of payments including connected commerce, connected car and biometric authentication.
It will also hold technology tutorials. The sessions will discuss 'Visa Token Service: Payment Protection Across Devices'; 'Visa Developer: Rapid Innovation on a Secure Network'; 'e/m-Commerce: Driving Online Conversion'; 'Internet of Things (IoT): Paying across billions of devices'; 'Biometrics in Payments: Scan, Authenticate, Done'; 'Visa Direct: The Next Generation of Paying and Being Paid'; and 'CET: Future of Payments.'
