CRANLEIGH School from Abu Dhabi won the Bahrain Schools Middle East (BSME) Golf Tournament at the Royal Golf Club.
Bahrain’s St Christopher’s School finished second.
Thomas Taylor-Cross of Cranleigh School won the individual prize with a gross score of 154 and he was followed by his brother Freddie Taylor-Cross in second place.
First place individual winner for the Bahrain Schools division was Mohammed Al Aathem with a gross score of 149. Kian Higgins was second with a gross score of 155
“It was great to see so many young players from all over the GGC who flew to Bahrain to participate in the tournament. We would like to thank The Royal Golf Club and the Bahrain Golf Association for their support as well as the sponsors Reza Hygiene and Gulf Suites Hotel, Amwaj,” said head of golf at St Christopher’s School Barry Hobday.
A total of 27 players including 10 Bahraini nationals took to the field to compete in this 36-hole stroke play event.
Nick Wilson, Head of St Christopher’s School, presented the prizes to the winners.
