Purkharam, a man from Bhadwa village in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, sleeps for around 25 days a month at a stretch, amounting to 300 days a year.
The 42-year-old has a rare sleep disorder called 'HPA Axis Hypersomnia', which makes it very hard for him to wake up once he is asleep.
He was diagnosed with the syndrome 23 years ago and has since then suffered a huge impact on his lifestyle and health.
At first, he slept for only 7 to 8 days a month at a go, but that number has increased dramatically over the years.
Purkharam is forced to do daily tasks, such as eating, bathing and working in his sleep with the help of his family.
He runs a business at his cold store for the five days he manages to be awake.
