Consumers in Bahrain will have to pay more for popular dairy products from Wednesday following a decision by the Saudi Cabinet to scrap subsidies on the dairy sector.
The price of Saudi milk, laban and yoghurt will go up following the decision.
The decision was taken due to a 100 per cent increase in shipping, logistics and procurement of raw materials, according to sources.
