More than 500 jewellery brands and watchmakers from across 31 countries are set to gather in Bahrain next week at the prestigious Jewellery Arabia 2021 with new glitz and glamour joining the party.
The return of the extravaganza is clear evidence that the world is slowly recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic and shines a bright light towards the kingdom’s economic recovery.
The Middle East’s largest jewellery and watch fair will open its doors on November 16 with a 25 per cent increase in participating brands.
New names aiming to sparkle include the renowned Gorgoglione from Italy, specialists in exclusive jewellery, set with rare diamonds, precious stones and pearls. Other notable Italian names to watch out for will be Mariani, Misani and Luvor, in addition to Aida Bergsen from Turkey and Demicheli Jewellery from Dubai to form the ‘Designers on the Road’ pavilion.
“After a globally challenging year, we are simply delighted to be back at Jewellery Arabia to present exclusive and unique designs from Asia Jewellers’ own diamond collections and our world leading brands,” said Asia Jewellers chairman Mohammed Jaffar on the occasion.
“We are pleased that so many of our outstanding international brands are returning to Jewellery Arabia too.
“We are positive that this year’s edition will be well-attended by jewellery lovers and watch collectors, augmenting Jewellery Arabia’s prestigious reputation as one of the most important exhibitions of its kind in the region.”
Meanwhile, watch and accessory lovers are sure to be dazzled by new additions too, including meticulously-handcrafted time-pieces by Arnold & Son, as well as glamorous watches from Beauregard – both making an appearance for the first time in this event.
The much-anticipated event caters to all styles and budgets and serves as a one-of-a-kind marketplace for jewellery enthusiasts to discover exclusive collections and new releases not available on the regional retail scene.
“Jewellery Arabia is the perfect occasion to present, for the first time, the Gemmy Bear collection,” said Beauregard founder Alexandre Beauregard in an official statement. “We will also be introducing the first Beauregard jewellery cuff-links collection and a new jewellery cocktail watch collection.”

The event will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Jewellery Arabia 2021, now in its 29th edition, will run until November 20 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sanabis.
