Bahrain is preparing for a major shake-up of its postal services, with eight existing post offices set to close as the kingdom moves towards a modern network of 100 new postal service locations, followed by five remaining main post offices.
The ambitious transformation will introduce 50 postal contact points through partnerships with private businesses, such as malls and shopping centres, and 50 electronic parcel locker booths operated under the RedBox brand, offering customers more convenient ways to send and receive parcels without having to visit a traditional post office .
