“We’re glad to see the implementation of the programme as part of the curriculum for the first time.”
INJAZ Bahrain executive director Hana Sarwani also believes that the programme will empower students to make better financial decisions while also equipping them with the knowledge to be economically-successful in life.
She added that embedding the programme into the curriculum of public schools will provide an opportunity ro reach more young people.
The Smart Investor Programme was launched in 2018 and it aims at equipping students with basic concepts related to money management, savings and smart financial planning through interactive edutainment activities within efforts to assist them into making sound financial decisions.
The programme consists of seven themed sessions to equip the students with thinking, specifying, planning, execution, saving, progression and evaluation concepts.
A nationwide competition will also be held for participants to increase engagement while also encouraging the students to apply the knowledge they have gained.
