Bahrain’s annual seasonal shrimping ban, which starts today, continues until July 31.
Carrying nets, tools or other equipment of any kind on boats in shrimping and berthing areas is prohibited, according to ban orders.
The ban also applies to displaying, selling and marketing shrimp in markets and public places.
