American martial artist Hauley Tilman defeated two ex-UFC fighters Markus 'Maluko' Perez and Marcus Brimage, to claim one of the two $5000 prizes.
UFC strawweight Istela Nunes became the PFC's first-ever female champion.
PFC chief executive Steve Williams said the championship delivers all the drama of hand-to-hand combat without the gore of mixed martial arts or boxing.
"The only difference between our fights and MMA fights is that nobody gets hurt," he said to Reuters in November.
"The fighters don't like to get hurt, and there's a lot of people who don't want to see the blood. They want to see good competition, they just don't want to see the violence."
