Civil Defence teams have rescued four people and extinguished a fire that broke out in a multi-storey residential building in Bani Jamra.
During the operation, the National Ambulance Service transferred a two-month-old girl to hospital after she suffered from smoke inhalation.
Competent authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the blaze.
