The King Fahad Causeway Authority has set new guidelines for residents and citizens of Saudi Arabia seeking to enter Bahrain through the causeway.
Adults are now required to be triple-vaccinated, or should have taken the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine within the last three months.
Children aged between 13 and 16 years must be double-jabbed, while those under 12 must have insurance against Covid-19 regardless of their vaccination status.
Moreover, domestic workers must show vaccination status on the Tawakkalna app, or be accompanied by their sponsor or one of his children.
The announcement was made on the authority's social media accounts.
