The community continues to rally round the GDN’s ‘Make a Child Happy’ Ramadan campaign.
Businesswoman Anitha Menon, managing director of Gatsby Beauty Lounge, posted on our social media platform www.gdnlife.com, a message of support.
“I am really delighted to be a part of the ‘Make a Child Happy’ campaign by the GDN. Ramadan inspires in all of us the spirit of giving and in line with that, this campaign feels just right. It would mean the world to me, if these games bring a smile on a child’s face.
“Kudos to GDN for initiating this beautiful thought and acting upon it.”
Your No 1 news provider is supporting The Maqabah Charitable Society, which first spearheaded the ‘Make a Child Happy’ campaign in 1998. It aims to collect toys, game consoles and video games to distribute to 20,000 youngsters as Eid Al Fitr gifts.
We aim to hand over plenty of goodies with YOUR support to the kingdom’s orphans and sick children who will be having to spend the holidays in hospital.
Help bring more smiles and receive a cheerful welcome from security officers Anthony and Ibrahim at the GDN’s East Riffa base or drop off your donated gifts to their colleagues at the GDN’s commercial HQ on Exhibitions Avenue in Hoora.
