THE Active Leaders for Women Advancement in the Near East (Alwane) Bahrain has announced the formation of a committee aimed at empowering the Bahraini youth.
The committee will feature projects and programmes that will support the talent of youngsters as well as work on developing their skills and boosting their awareness in a bid to help them contribute to society.
“We encourage Bahraini youth interested in working with this committee to contact the society and apply to join the committee,” said the head of the society’s youth committee, Maryam Ali, who will be particularly working with Bahraini girls pursuing financial independence and actively contributing to supporting their families.
“We welcome Bahraini youth who want to help their country and improve their skills, and we encourage everyone to participate in the committee’s scope of work and efforts.”
She also added that the committee will focus on new areas of innovation and creativity for young people such as renewable energy, biology, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence applications, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, non-fungible token (NFT), Metaverse, and other trending topics.
