National Complaints System ‘Tawasul’ and Building Permit System ‘Benayat’ achieved positive performance indicators during the second quarter of the year, said Information and e-Government Authority chief executive Mohammed Ali Al Qaed.
This reflects government agencies’ effective communication with users by responding to their inquiries and comments while providing quality e-services efficiently, he said.
It also helped increase users’ trust in light of digital transformation trends and the adoption of modern technology in the government sector, he added.
He pointed out that statistics related to ‘Tawasul’ system during the second quarter of the year showed that the total number of proposals, complaints, inquiries and comments received through the electronic system from April 1 to June 22 reached 47,526, adding that the percentage of general commitment to the service level agreement registered in the system reached 99pc.
Regarding the most prominent performance indicators in the ‘Benayat’ system, he said the number of requests for building permits submitted through the system from April 1 to June 22 was 625, all of which were answered within the time specified in the service level agreement.
The average number of days required to issue building-related permits did not exceed 2.3 days compared to the maximum service level of five days, he pointed out.
