Stargazers in Bahrain are witnessing an incredibly rare astronomical phenomenon this month.
Astro-photographer Premjith Narayanan was on the scene to capture the incredible event firsthand.
A sight of 5 bright planets lined up with the Crescent Moon was visible in the early hours of Friday, June 25.
Throughout June, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn will be lined up from left to right, in their orbital order from the sun, before dawning in the southeastern sky.
The last time such an event occurred was in 2004, and will not be visible again until 2040.
Mr Narayanan, an experienced photographer, said that favourable weather conditions along with the use of a fish eye lens helped him capture the alignment.
According to Mr Narayanan, the best time to view the alignment is between 3.30AM - 4.15AM.
