A STAR-STUDDED line-up of performers is set to take the stage in the upcoming new season of events scheduled at Al Dana Amphitheatre, in October and November.
Among the world-renowned names confirmed to perform in the open-air venue in Sakhir include much-loved regional icon Abdulmajeed Abdullah, renowned DJ Tiësto and Scottish singer-songwriter-musician Lewis Capaldi.
The venue kicks off its second season with a sold-out performance by global star Justin Bieber on October 5 while Abdulmajeed Abdullah will take the stage on October 14.
Meanwhile, DJ Tiësto is set to perform on October 21 followed by Lewis Capaldi on November 26.
“Everyone at Al Dana Amphitheatre is committed to making each show the best of its kind, but it all starts with an exhilarating calendar of events,” said Al Dana Amphitheatre chief executive Shane Chalmers, in a statement yesterday.
“Being open to the elements, we use these hot months to plan and prepare for the shows ahead. “We look forward to announcing other shows along with welcoming everyone back to our new season in October with even more artists to enhance what is already a star-studded schedule.”

Meanwhile, Capaldi’s hugely successful single Someone You Loved was the longest song ever to remain in the UK Top Ten singles chart.
He is the first artist in history to sell out an Arena tour prior to the release of a debut album (tickets sold out in one second).
Fans are expected to travel from overseas to see him in action at Al Dana Amphitheatre.
