Supreme Council for Women secretary general Hala Al Ansari received Tourism Minister Fatima Al Sairafi. She congratulated Ms Al Sairafi on her appointment and the royal trust bestowed on her. They discussed co-operation to invest in the opportunities offered for Bahraini women in the tourism sector, in accordance with the 2022-2026 Tourism Strategy, particularly ways to increase incentives that enable women to hold quality posts in such a promising sector. Ms Al Ansari lauded the strategy’s keenness to increase Bahraini women’s presence, affirming the council’s readiness to provide consultations to launch initiatives that motivate tourism facilities to ensure equal opportunities and gender balance in both employment and professional development.
