SCHOOL students in Bahrain studying in the Indian curriculum have performed exceedingly well in the All India Senior School Certificate Class 12 Examinations, which are overseen by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Pupils of the Indian School Bahrain (ISB) achieved an overall pass percentage of 97.4 with 624 students sitting for the exams which were conducted in two terms due to the pandemic.
The exams, the results of which were declared yesterday, were held offline maintaining Covid-19 protocols.
Anna Saju Mullappilly, from the commerce stream, secured 98.2 per cent of marks and emerged as the ISB topper, followed by Dwaraka Thiyakarajan (commerce) with a score of 98pc, and Bavya Koppal (commerce) and Dikpaal Prakashbhai Patel and Leo Thomas Dominic (science) with 96.6pc.
Meanwhile, in the science stream, Dikpaal and Leo shared the first position with 96.6pc, followed by John Abraham and Navneeth Sajith (96pc), and Ezekiel Moses Sequeira and Genga Devi Ganesan (95.6pc).
In humanities, Haritha Perayil scored 95.2pc of marks, followed by Zeel Kaushik Soni (94.2pc) and Rebecca Rachel Ashley (93pc).
Meanwhile, 21 pupils got A1 in all subjects. They are: Adriel Paul Shibu, Aniket Singh, Anna Saju Mullappilly, Bavya Koppal, Dikpaal Prakashbhai Patel, Don Sabu Varkey, Dwaraka Thiyakarajan, Elisha Philomena Alemao, Esha Tresa Sudeep, Ezekiel Moses Sequeira, Feebe Sara Shaji, Gurpreet Singh, Hiral Satish Gabhane, Jash Amul Dave, Jessica Bhalla, John Abraham, Leo Thomas Dominic, Merin Elissa Sam, Navneeth Sajith, Neha Ann Saji and Subin Suresh.

STUDENTS from the New Indian School secured a pass percentage of 97.
Out of 190 students who appeared for the exams, 161 scored first class including 100 students with distinction.
Aibel Rejan Varghese topped the science stream with 96.6pc, followed by Faiha Mariyam Shameer (95.6pc) and Muzammil Chunawala and Andrena Joshia Jebin (95pc).
In commerce, Maya Muraleedharan came in first with 97.2pc, followed by Abhinav Reghunath (97pc) and Fatima Ameerali (95.6pc).

OUT of 117 students of Ibn Al Hytham Islamic School who sat for the exams, 58 passed in the science stream and 57 students in commerce.
Noor Alok Abid Melethdathil finished first in the science stream with 96.2pc, followed by Fazil Mohammad Shahbaz Allauddin Mohd Hakim (95pc).
Rashed A Rahman Jasim Mohamed Ateeq Alsubait took top position in the commerce stream with 95.6pc, followed by Rehan Tosif Raja Mohammad Tosif Raja Mohd S (93.2pc).

FROM the New Millennium School – Bahrain, out of the 126 students who sat for the exams, 80 passed with distinction and 33 scored 90pc and above.
Sama Umesh Walke topped the school with 97.4pc marks, followed by Gayatri Pradeep with 97.2pc and Sneh Shah with 97pc.
Of the 89 students who appeared in the science stream, 22 students secured above 90pc, and 21 students excelled with A grade in all subjects.
In commerce, nine out of 30 students secured above 90pc marks and nine students excelled with A grade in all subjects.
Seven students also appeared in the humanities stream with two securing above 90pc and one excelling with A grade in all subjects.
Sama Umesh Walke topped the science stream with 97.4pc, while Gayatri Pradeep was the top scorer in commerce with 97.2pc and Nanditha Dileep scored the highest in humanities with 94.8pc.
Students who scored 100/100 are: Amelia Susan John (mathematics), Shriya Jain, Gayatri Pradeep and Leanne Suneeth (business studies), Sheh Shah (chemistry), Gayatri Pradeep (accountancy), Tahir Ali (computer science), and Nanditha Dileep and Nidhi Venkatesh Kaushik (political science).
