THE Sunni Endowments Directorate yesterday issued a circular regarding the upcoming parliamentary and municipal elections.
It stipulates that as per the directives of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf Al Maawda, preachers, imams and muezzins wishing to run for parliamentary and municipal elections must stop working and take official leaves from October 10, until the end of the electoral process .
