His Majesty King Hamad yesterday issued a decree-law ratifying a framework agreement as well as agency and guarantee agreements between the Government of Bahrain and the Islamic Development Bank to finance the second phase of the project to upgrade the transmission and distribution of water from Al Dur plant.
His Majesty also issued a decree-law ratifying a loan and guarantee agreements between the Government of Bahrain and the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development to finance the expansion of water transmission networks as part of the second phase of the Al Dur plant. Both deals were inked last July.
The King also issued Decree-Law 35 of 2022, amending Article 3 of Decree-Law 27 of 2002 on the Establishment of the Constitutional Court, based on the opinion of the General Assembly of the Constitutional Court and after the approval of the Cabinet.
