Al Ettihad defeated Buri 2-1 in a second-round match of the Bahrain Second Division League football tournament last night.
Ettihad scored the opener in the 36th minute and managed to hold on to a 1-0 lead until half-time.
Buri found the equaliser in the 72nd minute of the match but Ettihad battled back to score the winner in the 79th minute.
Roland and Gabriel Montero scored for the winners while Ali Hussein Hassan was on target for Buri.
In another match, Al Tadhamun held Al Ettifaq to a 1-1 draw.
The match between Busaiteen and Malkiya also ended in a 1-1 draw.
