Ministry of Interior announced on Friday that the Criminal Security Sector arrested 10 suspects in seven separate cases involving possession of narcotics and psychotropic substances intended for trafficking and personal use.
In a statement, the ministry said authorities seized 500 grams of hashish and 20,000 Captagon pills, in addition to other various substances, along with precision scales and cash.
All suspects and seized items were referred to authorities for legal action, it added.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to continuing intensive security operations to combat drug trafficking and protect society from the dangers of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
