The Bahrain Chamber has approved a comprehensive package of initiatives to strengthen private sector representation, boost member communication, and expand regional economic partnerships.
Presided over by Chamber chairman Nabeel Khalid Kanoo during its third board meeting of the 31st session, the board finalised the restructuring of its vital sectoral committees, which serve as the cornerstone for addressing business community challenges and driving private sector competitiveness.
As part of these initiatives, the board approved the restructuring of the Bahraini-Jordanian Joint Business Council, inviting interested Chamber members and business owners to join the Bahraini side to unlock fresh trade and investment opportunities.
Additionally, a new schedule of sectoral meetings and field visits was reviewed, aimed at directly engaging with local businesses to address their immediate needs.
The board also emphasized leveraging international platforms to showcase Bahrain’s investment climate while helping local businesses discover trade opportunities abroad.
Concluding the meeting, the Chamber reaffirmed its commitment to launching further initiatives that champion the interests of its members and solidify its role as a key driver of the kingdom’s economic development.
