An Indonesian 'orange beret' managed to survive with only a few minor injuries after falling from 1,600ft during a training jump.
Video of the incident captured by a civilian on the ground shows a row of 'orange berets' jumping out of a military aircraft, with parachutes deploying one after the other.
One of the parachutes, however, gets tangled up and just falls straight down.
Salman Krisnes, a member of Indonesia's Quick Reaction Forces Command suffered a broken hip from the fall but was otherwise in good health.
Colonel Gunawan, the spokesman for the Quick Reaction Forces, said: "One of the soldiers had an accident and was unable to control his parachute perfectly because several ropes were tangled when he jumped from the plane."
"Due to this incident, the soldier suffered a fracture to his right hip and has received medical expert assistance.
"He was referred to the Indonesian Air Force Hospital Salamun Bandung. Currently, his condition is stable and he is being referred for further treatment."
