A FIRST-TIME councillor has called for the reopening of a weekend flea market, which was shut down in 2020 as part of measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).Antique seller Mubarak Faraj, who was elected to the Southern Municipal Council from Isa Town (eastern part), is leading a group of councillors who believe that the flea market is a winning concept, no matter where it was located on the island .
