THE first round of winners of the BFC KCA Indian Talent Scan competition has been announced.
The events, open to all Indian children in Bahrain, are being organised by the Kerala Catholic Association (KCA) in collaboration with the Bahrain Financing Company (BFC) at the KCA premises in Segaiya.
The competitions began on December 2 and will continue until January 27.
In the 14-18 age category of the Christian Devotion Song contest, Sreedaksha Sunil was placed first, followed by Adya Sheeju and Alan Reji.
Jenet Thettayil won in the girl’s category for those aged between nine and 11, followed by Sera Godson and Edwina Loab.
In the 11-14 age category, Gayathri Sudheer was first, followed by Shreya Zacharia and Bhoomika Suraj.
Rachael John won the English Speech competition for contestants aged between 11 and 14, followed by Oviyapriya and Shauryaa Sreejith.
Devika Suresh won the English Speech competition in the 14-18 age category, followed by Parthi Jain and Prithvi Kumar.
Around 800 children are taking part in this year’s events.
