Real estate projects play a key role in attracting investments and developing the hospitality industry in Bahrain, said Tourism Minister Fatima Al Sairafi.
She stressed the importance of the property sector in providing accommodation and entertainment solutions for visitors and tourists, supporting the national economy and spurring growth.
The minister made the remarks as she discussed with Naseej chief executive Amin Al Arrayed ways of furthering the company’s contributions to the tourism sector.
Ms Al Sairafi, also Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority board chairperson, reiterated support for partners with ambitious goals set in tourism strategy for 2022-2023.
She underlined the importance of developing the business and exhibition tourism, supported by the successful operation of the state-of-the art Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir.
Mr Al Arrayed affirmed Naseej’s keenness to explore new opportunities with the government and build on the gains achieved thanks to the fruitful partnership between the public and private sectors, which is in line with the company’s vision of building integrated urban communities for future generations.
He briefed the minister on the most important projects of Naseej, including the Canal View on the island of Dilmunia, which will be a unique tourist destination in the kingdom during the next few years.
