Health Minister Dr Jalila Al Sayyed has affirmed keenness to provide the best health services to patients with sickle cell anaemia, as well as improve the quality of services delivered to them.
She made the statement yesterday while receiving Bahrain Sickle Cell Society chairman Zakariya Al Kadhem.
She commended the major role played by the society, embodying the importance of community partnership in ensuring that all patients have access to high-quality services that meet international standards.
The two sides discussed issues of common interest and ways to enhance co-operation between them to ensure the best services are delivered to sickle cell patients.
Mr Al Kadhem expressed his deepest thanks to the Health Ministry for its constant support and co-operation with the society to serve all patients with sickle cell anaemia.
