A farewell ceremony for outgoing Indian Ambassador Piyush Srivastava was held by the Pravasi Legal Cell (PLC) Bahrain at the Swiss-Belhotel.
Community leaders from different Indian organisations attended the event during which the diplomat was honoured.
“He has given pivotal importance to community welfare, and played a key role in strengthening ties between India and Bahrain,” said PLC country head Sudheer Thirunilath.
