Bahrain ranked first globally in the percentage of schools awarded the ‘Technology Incubator Schools’ status according to Microsoft International classification. It also ranked first among GCC countries and the Arab world, and third internationally in terms of the number of schools holding the same title.
A total of 36 schools in the kingdom, including 35 government schools, were able to demonstrate excellence in incorporating technology in education, in accordance with Microsoft standards, which uses the tools of the Microsoft 365 package in educational practices.
Education Ministry UnderSecretary for Policies, Strategies and Performance Nawal Ibrahim Al Khater said 1,716 teachers from public and private schools have obtained the “Educator Expert Certification” from Microsoft after going through the necessary evaluation processes supervised by Microsoft specialists, based on the ability to use modern Microsoft tools and technologies and integrate them into the continued educational development process.
