Naseej, a Bahrain-based fully-integrated real estate and infrastructure developer, has taken its first steps to enter the thriving Saudi Arabian market.
Talking exclusively to the GDN, Amin Al Arrayed, the chief executive of the regional pioneer in public-private partnerships, said participation in Cityscape Global 2023 in Riyadh was in line with the company’s strategic direction to activate its regional and international presence and explore cross-border opportunities.
Billed as the largest real-estate exhibition in the world, the event attracted more than 160,000 local, regional and international visitors, with the participation of 10,000 international investors, a line-up of over 300 speakers over three days discussing the latest challenges and developments in the real estate sector regionally and globally.
Mr Al Arrayed joined a panel of key experts and real estate professionals to speak within the Property Portfolio Forum on ‘Home, Sweet Sustainable Home: The Urgent Need for More Liveable and Eco-Friendly Residential Real Estate’.
His participation focused on the future of the real estate sector in relation to developing sustainable communities, with a focus on building smart homes that are built for the future.
The official also spoke about a number of Naseej projects and the company’s strategic approach to delivering sustainable communities in Bahrain.
Established in 2010, by a group of prominent private and public sector investors, Naseej has invested more than BD218.4 million ($580.8m) in the kingdom, completing a number of successful real estate and infrastructure projects, including CanalView in Dilmunia, Basateen residential villas, Jumana affordable housing project and Yasmeenat Saar villas located in Saar, opposite to Saar Mall.
Expressing delight at the significant uptake in the sale and leasing of residential apartments in CanalView, Mr Al Arrayed said it is becoming a popular choice for families and professionals seeking a convenient place to live in Bahrain that offers a blend of modern living and a luxurious lifestyle.
Earlier this year, the developer announced three new residential developments, Nasayim Arad, BarBar and the Investment Lands Project in Amwaj Islands, as its latest ventures.
Mr Al Arrayed further said: “With my participation, I was also able to highlight Naseej’s contribution to the development of Bahrain’s real estate sector to the audience of real estate experts, professionals, delegates and investors who have joined to benefit from this prestigious event.
“Not only was it an excellent opportunity to showcase our vision to international investors, but also it was an ideal platform for us to build relationships with potential customers, gain insights from colleagues and experts in the field, and discover new developments, innovations, and opportunities in the property development industry.”
Thanking the organisers of Cityscpae Global for the invitation, the real estate expert who has more than 20 years of experience in real estate investment, banking and development, said he was confident that the event will have the greatest impact on establishing strong real estate partnerships and alliances, and providing rewarding opportunities with major real estate players, thus contributing to the establishment of larger, more profitable and beneficial joint real estate projects.
Mr Al Arrayed also confirmed Naseej’s participation as an exhibitor in the upcoming second edition of Cityscape Bahrain set to take place from November 14 to 16 at Exhibition World Bahrain.
“We see it as a golden opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen co-operation with other developers, exchange experiences and knowledge, and also reach out to investors,” he added.
