Growing Bahraini-Ethiopian relations in various sectors and Ethiopia’s strong and dynamic economy have been praised by Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman Sameer Nass. Mr Nass said this during a meeting with Ethiopian Consul General to Bahrain Shiferaw Geneti at the Chamber’s Bait Al Tijjar headquarters.
He proposed organising business-to-business meetings between Bahraini and Ethiopian businesspeople to further strengthen and expand trade ties between the two countries. Mr Geneti expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and hailed the existing Bahraini-Ethiopian business relations. He encouraged both sides to enrich those business relations and take advantage of Ethiopia’s diverse resources.
The ambassador urged Bahraini businesspeople to invest in Ethiopia’s food sector, which he said could be a mutually beneficial trade partnership. Bahrain Chamber board member Waheeb Alkhaja was also present during the meeting
