Tamkeen will now pay more money to help private sector companies hire unemployed Bahrainis and also pay more money to people who participate in its National Employment Programme, it has emerged.
Announcing a hike in support during a Press conference at the Bahrain Chamber's Bait Al Tijjar headquarters today, Labour Minister Jameel Humaidan said Tamkeen also known as the Labour Fund has increased the minimum wage by BD50 for National Employment Programme participants so that high school graduates get BD350, diploma holders get BD430 and bachelor's degree holders get BD500 .
