His Majesty King Hamad held a telephone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam during his visit to Bahrain.
His Majesty affirmed the depth of the ties between Bahrain and Lebanon, and the kingdom’s constant keenness to support development paths in various domains to meet the aspirations of both countries and peoples. His Majesty conveyed his greetings to Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, wishing him success and prosperity.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also made a telephone call to Prime Minister Salam, in which he affirmed the strong relations that unite Bahrain and Lebanon, which are always progressing towards further development and advancement, contributing to broader prospects for co-operation and joint co-ordination between the two countries and peoples.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed his greetings to President Aoun, wishing him success and prosperity, and wishing Lebanon continued progress and growth.
Prime Minister Salam thanked His Majesty and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, highlighting the hospitality he and his accompanying delegation received during their stay in the kingdom.
He underscored Lebanon’s steadfast and supportive position towards Bahrain and all the GCC countries in confronting any attacks that affect their security, sovereignty and stability.
