American singer and rapper Shifty Shellshock, best known for the 2001 hit single ‘Butterfly’ from the rock band ‘Crazy Town’, has died at the age of 49.
The artist was found dead on Monday (June 24) at his residence in Los Angeles. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Born as Seth Binzer, the artist founded Crazy Town back in 1995. The band’s hit ‘Butterfly’ topped number one on the US hit list and number three in the UK.
The singer achieved further success with DJ Paul Oakenfold with the club track titled ‘Starry Eyed Surprise.’
Unfortunately, Shellshock struggled with addiction throughout his life, which he revealed on reality shows like ‘Celebrity Rehab’ along with its continuation of ‘Sober House.’
