The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch a national programme aimed at developing Bahraini talent in artificial intelligence (AI).
The programme, announced at the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum, will equip Bahraini nationals with the skills to become AI generalists, specialists, and startup founders.
“This initiative aligns with Tamkeen’s 2024 strategic priorities, focusing on economic impact and private sector development,” said Tamkeen chief executive Maha Mofeez.
The partnership will provide training in cloud computing, machine learning, and AI, helping Bahrain position itself as a global innovation hub.
