Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met Bank of China board of directors chairman Ge Haijiao and his accompanying delegation during their visit to Bahrain.
The meeting was attended by Sustainable Development Minister and Economic Development Board (EDB) chief executive Noor Al Khulaif, Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) Governor Khalid Humaidan, and Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat) CEO Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Salman emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening co-operation with global financial institutions to create opportunities that support the kingdom’s economic development.
He highlighted the advanced economic, financial, and trade ties between Bahrain and China, emphasising the importance of expanding collaboration with experienced financial institutions, exchanging expertise, and adopting best practices to drive sustainable growth.
