MMA – THE latest rankings for Brave Combat Federation’s lightweight division have been revealed, with reigning champion Abdysalam Kubanychbek sitting on top.
Considered one of the most dominant champions in Brave CF history, Kubanychbek broke the lightweight title curse this year and successfully defended the title at Brave CF 87, securing a decision win over Rauli Tutarauli.
The victory extended Kubanychbek’s undefeated run in Brave CF and marked his ninth straight win in the organisation.
Georgia’s Rauli Tutarauli, who challenged Kubanychbek for the title and delivered a strong performance, holds the first contender position. Former interim title contender Olzhas Eskaraev occupies the second position following his impressive performance at Brave CF 84. Eskaraev is currently riding a two-fight winning streak in the organisation.
Undefeated Bahraini superstar Ramazan Gitinov is ranked third after his dominant first-round win at Brave CF 82 in 2024. Gitinov has been unstoppable in his professional MMA career, finishing all of his opponents so far, making him a challenger to watch out for.
Former title contender Kamil Magomedov holds the fourth position, while David Forster completes the top five rankings in the lightweight division.
With Kubanychbek breaking the lightweight title curse and proving himself unstoppable, the next big question in the division is: who can end the champion’s dominance?
