Saudi students have secured 12 special awards at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2026), held in Phoenix, arisona.
Competing against more than 1,700 students from 70 countries, the Saudi team earned these prestigious honours from international scientific and academic institutions and is now awaiting the announcement of the grand prize results as the competition concludes.
The special awards recognise projects with exceptional research value, practical application, and alignment with promising scientific fields.
This achievement underscores a prominent Saudi presence at the world’s premier scientific event for pre-university students, highlighting the quality and innovation of the projects presented by the Kingdom’s youth.
Represented by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Giftedness and Creativity Foundation (Mawhiba) and the Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia has participated annually in ISEF since 2007.
This year's team consists of 40 students, with 23 competing in person in Phoenix and 17 participating remotely from Riyadh, all showcasing high-quality scientific research on the global stage.
