Muharraq have been crowned champions of the 2025-26 Nasser bin Hamad Bahrain Premier Football League.
Muharraq secured back-to-back titles following a thrilling 1-0 victory over A’ali this evening in their hotly contested season-ending fixture played at the National Stadium in Riffa.
Soufiane Saeed Mahrouk fired in the match-winning strike in the 51st minute. He scored with a low, left-footed effort from inside the box that beat A’ali goalkeeper Omar Salem into the bottom-right corner of the net. Muharraq’s win was their 17th of the campaign, which they have wrapped up with 55 points – just one ahead of chief title rivals Al Khaldiya, who defeated Al Najma 3-1 in another game tonight at Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town.
