As part of the Interior Ministry’s commitment to strengthening community partnership and national belonging, the General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing distributed Ramadan baskets to families benefiting from the Open Prisons programme in all governorates for the third consecutive year. The initiative reflects the ministry’s keenness to enhance the integration of beneficiaries from alternative penalties into society, develop their values of citizenship, and uphold the values of Islam based on generosity and compassion.
