Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, commended His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s unwavering support for the legislative authority, emphasising His Majesty’s commitment to enhancing its role in Bahrain’s comprehensive development process.
He underscored the role of royal patronage in enhancing the legislative system, consolidating democracy, and upholding the rule of law, in line with HM the King's vision for national progress. He also noted that His Majesty’s speeches at the opening of legislative terms serve as a guiding framework for driving national development.
Al Saleh presented the Shura Council’s response to HM the King's speech at the opening of the third session of the sixth legislative term, noting the strong cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities. He underscored that the partnership with the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, serves an important role in supporting national development plans and modernisation efforts.
He expressed pride in Bahrain’s achievements under HM King Hamad's leadership and underscored the Shura Council’s commitment to fulfilling its legislative responsibilities in line with His Majesty’s directives.
