His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received a telephone call from UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Presidential Court Chairman Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who congratulated him on the successful launch of Bahrain’s Al Munther satellite into orbit.
Shaikh Mansour commended the historic scientific achievement and the contributions of Bahraini professionals in advancing the kingdom’s space sector. Shaikh Mansour wished Bahrain continued progress and success under the King’s leadership.
His Majesty thanked Shaikh Mansour and expressed his best wishes for the UAE and its people.
The King received a cable of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the successful launch of Al Munther.
HRH Prince Salman noted that the achievement reflects the King’s vision and commitment to advancing the kingdom’s role in the space sector.
He noted that the launch marks a strategic milestone in strengthening the kingdom’s contributions to sustainable development, fostering innovation, and keeping pace with the latest advancements in science and technology.
